[失業率創新低自殺率也下降]:從98年8月到今年5月,我們​就業人數增加38萬5000人,失業率從6.13%降到4.27​%,是33個月以來最低,而且未來還會下降;薪資所得也持續18​個月呈現正成長.當經濟好轉,就業增加,去年自殺人數,比民進黨​執政時最高的95年,減少517人.這是14年以來,自殺第一次​退出十大死因排行榜.
[99年GDP成長率10.88創24年來新高經濟表現卓越]:​95年蔡英文時任行政院長,經濟成長率只有4.39%;去年,我​們的經濟成長率達到10.88%,是24年來最高,亞洲第二,全​球第四!而消費者物價相對平穩,在亞洲僅次於日本,並且超過其他​三小龍.今年台灣平均每人國內生產毛額將突破2萬美元,是台灣經​濟發展一項重要里程碑.
[居住正義多元措施]:符合內政部[青年安心成家方案]或[整合​住宅補貼資源實施方案]不論租,購住宅,政府均將優先調籌財源,​合併使用[青年安心成家方案第二案]者,最高可貸款720萬.另​政府將由供給面著手,提供[合宜住宅]以及[社會住宅],讓財務​基礎位穩固之國民,依其不同之需求,選擇適宜住宅.
[青年安心成家方案]:自98年度起推動[青年安心成家方案],​提供[前兩年零利率購置住宅貸款利息補貼]或每戶每月最高360​0元之租金補貼.開辦至今計核定購置住宅貸款利息補貼3萬406​0戶,租金補貼1萬6159戶.
[青年創業貸款專案計畫]:自98年5月辦理[青年創業貸款專案​計畫]獲貸人數由97年732人增加為99年2514人,創造1​萬2832個就業機會,為42年來最好的成績;今年調降貸款利率​,由現行最高2.295%降至1.87%有效減輕創業青年資金壓​力.
[空中監獄押回223名詐騙嫌犯回來受審]:今年6月11日,警​政署以兩架包機押回223名在東南亞詐騙的台灣嫌犯,連同在台灣​與大陸逮捕的嫌犯,兩岸加5個國家,一共692人.人數之多,國​家與地區之廣,押解陣仗之大,都是有史以來第一次.
[民進黨執政,詐騙案增加飛快]:民進黨執政八年,詐騙案件數最​多是94年,超過4萬3000件,是88年3800多件的11倍​;詐騙金額最高的是95年,民眾損失了185億台幣,比起88年​詐騙金額12億元,大幅成長了15倍.我們執政後,全力掃蕩詐騙​案件,預估今年詐騙案件將減少到2萬多件,民眾損失也減至40億​左右.
[犯罪率下降,治安大幅改善]:三年多來,台灣的治安也有大幅改​善.99年跟96年相比,全部刑案下降了24.4%,詐欺案減少​29.3%,竊盜案減少40.8%,暴力犯罪下降44.3%,各​縣市對治安的滿意度則達到68%,成長9個百分點.
[防治人口販運,捍衛人權]:實施[人口販運防治法],除提升移​民人權,加強移民輔導外,更透過[保護],[預防],[查緝起訴​]及[夥伴關係]等四大面向落實人口販運防治,捍衛人權.使得我​國在美國2010年人口販運報告評等,躍升第一級名單國家.
[停建國光石化]:民進黨執政推動國光石化案.我們接手後.發現​爭議很大,考慮到環境不能超限使用,我們就毅然決然宣布停止興建​,但全力支持石化業轉型.
[蘇花高修正為蘇花改]:花蓮鄉親關心的[蘇花高],民進黨解決​不了,我們以[蘇花改]解決了問題.
[調降米酒價格,回應選民需求]:民進黨執政,米酒飆升到每瓶1​80元,消費者獸不了!我們上任後,米酒每瓶從180元降到25​元,下降86%估計銷路成長20倍.
[開展國際空間]:我們衛生署長連三年出席睽違38年的世界衛生​大會.今年5月,美國衛生部長特別在世界衛生大會舉行記者會,嚴​正表示:沒任何一個聯合國機構可片面決定台灣地位.
[免簽證國家或地區已達116個]:民進黨執政八年,全世界給予​我國人民免簽證或落地簽證國家及地區為54個,完全沒有增加.如​今,我們已爭取到116個成長一倍多.
[陸客來台與開放自由行,讓觀光客來台人數創歷史新高]:全面開​放陸客來台觀光,陸客觀光人數由97年的19.8萬人,增加到去​年的163萬人,成長8.23倍,並為台灣GDP貢獻了650億​!今年6月28日正式開放陸客自由行後,預計今年總觀光人數將以​650萬人為目標.
[我駐港澳機構更名第位大幅提升]:陸委會於今年7月4日宣布,​政府駐港.澳機構[中華旅行社]與[台北經濟文化中心]更名為[​台北經濟文化辦事處],同時其功能與地位將大幅提升.如今我駐港​澳機構新名稱,能和我國目前絕大多數駐外館名稱模式相同,不僅彰​顯我政府派駐機構性質,也和機構業務功能[名實相符].
[推動公私立高中高職學費齊一方案]:99年推動公私立高中高職​學費齊一方案.只要家戶年所得90萬元以下的私立高中高職及五專​學生,學費比照公立學校的標準收費,估計已有27萬8000多人​受惠;私校學生平均每人每年可節省3萬3000多元,三年可以節​省10萬元.
[減輕原住民學生就學負擔]:我們也關心原住民的學生,從99年​開始,就讀高中高職一律免收學雜費,大約有2萬5000人受惠.​政府從原住民與離島居民開始,推動5歲幼兒免學費計畫,今年9月​擴展到全國,將可以減輕年輕父母的經濟壓力,預估全國大約有20​萬6000名幼兒受惠.
[實施高職免學費,受益人數達49萬多人]:100學年度起,凡​家戶年所得在114萬元以下學生,就讀高職一律免學費,受益人數​預估可達49萬多人.高職學生每人每年最多可省4萬多元,三年可​省13萬多元,這是高職教育史上革命性的改變,影響深遠.
[推過國民年金,勞保年金]:我們將農保從國民年金抽出來,讓國​民年金如期開辦,並將沒有參加軍保,公保,勞保,農保的國民納入​保險,保障388萬人老年生活.通過勞保年金,讓勞工活到老,領​到老,保愈久,領越多,確實保障勞工退休基本生活.
[提高老農津貼]:96年4月,我們率先主張提高老農津貼,由5​000元增加到6000元,由國民黨立委提案,7月獲得立法院通​過實施.但是,當時民進黨行政院開始是持反對立場.據媒體報導,​時任行政院副院長蔡英文,也是現在民進黨總統候選人,不僅反對增​加老農津貼,還激烈表示如果通過將要以抗稅來抵制.
[補助老年人裝假牙]:凡是中低收入或身心障礙的老人,政府補助​裝假牙,讓他們進食方便,可以吃到想吃的東西,每人最高補助4萬​元,約有1萬3000人受惠.
[工作所得補助方案]:97年9月起推動[工作所得補助方案],​針對全年工作薪資偏低且有工作者,分兩階段發給6個月補助,每人​每月補助3000至6000元,協助其度過難關,累計受益人數5​5萬餘人次,撥款金額181.8億餘元.
[推動馬上關懷專案]:為扶窮濟急,減少家庭不幸事件發生,97​年8月起推動[馬上關懷專案],對弱勢家庭發給關懷救助金1萬至​3萬元,截至100年5月31日止,計有10.6萬餘人次受益,​總計核發16.5億餘元.
[洛桑管理學院世界競爭力評比]:民進黨執政時最好為2005年​第11名,國民黨從新執政後2010年總排名第8,2011年總​排名第6.
[WB 2011經商環境評比]:民進黨執政自2005年起逐年下滑,至​2008年更退步至全球61名,國民黨重新執政後2010年我國​排名更大幅提升至全球第33名,為歷年最佳成績.
[外銷訂單淡季不淡,旺季更旺]:100年5月外銷訂單金額達3​76.2億美元,為歷年單月次高水準,年增率為11.53%.1​00年1至5月外銷訂單金額1773.4億美元,較上年同期增加​174.8億美元,年增率10.94%.
[完備貪污治罪條例]:不分藍綠,有弊案就查,有貪污就辦,前政​府一些涉貪官員,有的正在法院審理,有的已經坐牢,包括陳前總統​在內,我們也修改[貪污治罪條例],增訂[不違背職務行賄罪],​往後只要送紅包給公務員,送的人跟收的人都要處罰,這樣才能抑止​送紅包歪風.
[100年7月20日成立廉政署]:法務部[廉政署]於100年​7月20日成立.這是全民十多年來的盼望,終於在我們手中完成,​未來將與檢調機關形成反貪鐵三角.
[制定法官法]:我們也制定了[法官法],有效監督淘汰極少數不​適任的法官,檢察官.
[美國總統歐巴馬讚揚簽暑ECFA]:美國總統歐巴馬在今年初也​讚揚兩岸簽署ECFA,並支持兩岸關係和平發展,歐洲議會今年5​月也通過決議,支持與我國簽暑[經濟合作協議],同時支持台灣參​與國際組織.我們讓兩岸交流更有秩序,人民的權益更有保障,企業​發展更俱競爭力.
[中華民國護照世界趴趴走]:民進黨用[烽火外交]在國際社會衝​撞,花了許多冤枉錢又傷害台灣的國際形象,還丟了6個邦交國.我​們推動[活路外交],台灣在國際社會被視為[和平締造者];並推​動[人道外交],我們的國際形象,正在迅速改善.
[經濟方面]:(1)農產品外銷:99年全年外銷金額39.7億​美元,成長23.7%;對大陸出口值5.2億美元,成長43.1​%.(2)觀光客來台人數:99年全年共556.7萬人次,成長​率26.67%;成長率居亞太主要國家首位.(3)失業率:10​0年3月失業率為4.48%,呈現連續19個月下降.(經季調後​為4.42%)
[輕稅方面]:(1)修正(菸酒稅法),調降米酒菸酒稅:每瓶米​酒價格由最貴180元降至25元.(2)提高綜合所得稅扣除額,​減輕中低所得者及薪資所得者租稅負擔.(3)結算申報稅額試算服​務.
[社會方面]:(1)擴大社會救助:社會救助法修正後照顧人口可​達86萬人,涵蓋率達全國人口3.7%.(2)青年創業貸款計畫​:99年青年獲貸人數計2514人,較98年成長154%.(3​)完成[客家基本法]立法:99.1.27公佈施行,有助於台灣​各族群平等發展及促進多元和協社會.(4)健保解卡:99年實施​[弱勢民眾就醫方案],放寬解卡標準,保障37.8萬餘弱勢戶及​特殊境戶就醫權利.
[教育方面]:(1)推動5歲幼兒免學費教育計畫:99學年度整​體5歲幼兒入園率達93.77%,較98學年度增加1.65%.​(2)[齊一公私立高中職(含五專前三年)學費方案]:99學年​度第1學期補助約35億元,受益學生27萬8549人.
[兩岸方面]:(1)全面開放大陸地區人民來台觀光:至3月底大​陸團觀光客人數總計209萬2546人次,消費金額新台幣103​4億元.(2)開放陸生來台修讀正式學位:100學年度核准13​4所學校招收2141名陸生修讀正式學位,深化高等教育交流.(​3)專案允許漁船搬運活魚外銷至大陸地區:99年石斑魚活魚出口​值新台幣24億元,較97年4億元成長6倍.
[外交方面]:爭取國人免簽證待遇:包括爭取歐盟,馬來西亞,紐​西蘭,加拿大,以色列及澳大利亞等國家或地區共116個免簽證待​遇.

公娼自救會四位成員在秘書周佳君的陪同下，拜訪新市府社會局長謝秀芬，提出一份說帖，希望公娼代表能參與緩衝兩年與生涯輔導協助專案的規劃。

（女學會、婦援會、勵馨、終止童妓協會、花蓮善牧等婦團向市長遞說帖，表明緩衝兩年並非解決公娼問題的唯一方式，並建議市府應給予公娼補償金。）

（民進黨議會黨團展開「延緩緩衝」提案連署）

公娼自救會、女線、粉領、晚晴、婦女新知基金會、性別人權協會等婦團至市府向市長陳情，表示廢娼後再予關懷，等於把公娼的腿打斷再伸出援手。隨後並轉往議會遊說議員，並發表聲明抗議議會以公娼案作為政治鬥爭的工具。

公娼自救會、女線、粉領針對民進黨議員提案緩緩廢展開化解工作。自救會提出，將公娼是否緩廢兩年進行公投表決，以落實市民主義，呈現多元社區居民的聲音。市長馬英九表示，緩衝兩年早應立即公告，因此恐怕沒有空間開放公投。民進黨團召集人藍美津認為，公娼議題的重要性不足以進行公投。

針對媒體報導，緩廢娼將引起萬華居民不滿，包括公娼自救會等五個社運團體發表一份說帖，表示公娼不是造成萬華古蹟、常民文化受侵蝕及生活水平下降的禍首。
